Dr.
Drew E. Tuckman graduated from Indiana University in 1970 and from
Indiana University School of Medicine in 1974. He completed his General
Surgery Residency at the North Carolina Memorial Hospital program in
Chapel Hill, North Carolina and at the West Virginia University Hospital
in Morgantown, West Virginia. He completed his Plastic Surgery Residency
in 1979 at The University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver,
Colorado. Dr. Tuckman completed a fellowship specialty in Pediatric Plastic
Surgery at The University of Colorado Medical Center and Denver
Children's Hospital, and then opened his own private practice in Fair
Lawn, New Jersey.
Dr. Tuckman feels that it is very important to be well-educated and
well-trained and he regularly attends important Plastic Surgery meetings
throughout the United States and internationally. In addition, on many
occasions, he has traveled throughout the United States to learn
specialized techniques from plastic surgeons whose new techniques or
expertise in a procedure are renowned.
Dr. Tuckman is a former Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery
at the Chilton Memorial Hospital. In addition to cosmetic surgery, he is
very active in reconstructive surgery, particularly correcting
deformities resulting from trauma or skin cancer removal.

Tuckman is fully certified by the
Plastic
Surgery Board, the
American Board of Plastic
Surgery.
